Tryouts begin August 21st 8-10:30am for swimmers; 10:15-12:15pm for divers. We consider the first three days tryouts. These days are basic workouts, but we evaluate all members to ensure they can participate. For swimmers that means being able to swim all four strokes, execute legal turns during workouts, dive off the starting blocks, and keep up with the pace of their lane for the workout. We are a very competitive varsity sport and unfortunately there is only so much space in the pool. These guidelines for our tryouts are also to ensure the safety of all those in the pool.
